Women : No Sex For Facebook

Women : No Sex For Facebook

CALIFORNIA - A recent survey revealed that 20 percent of women are not willing to have sex for the sake of Facebook.

As quoted from Digital Trends, , in a Cosmopolitan magazine survey involving two thousand women revealed that one in five women are not willing to have sex for a week, rather than deciding their access to Facebook.

Cosmopolitan magazine survey is more detailed explained that approximately 57 percent of women prefer the Internet to play on PC for a week, rather than have sex. Then 50 percent of respondents said that they preferred 'up-ness' through cell phones than sex.

Even so, approximately 80 percent of respondents would gladly cut off access to television for a week, and 70 percent are willing to stop the SMS for one week, and still have sex.

The results of this study indicate that the current social networking sites and internet has been a big part of people's lives around the world.

Second Generation Biofuels Discovered

Second Generation Biofuels Discovered

Meeting of the Parties to the 16th Conference on Global Climate Change in Cancun, Mexico, said Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will not make important decisions. This is due to the absence of strong state leaders in attendance to carry the various ways to become an important and binding decisions.

Meeting of the Parties (COP) to the 16th at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) held in Cancun on 29 November to 10 December 2010.

Lula's statement quoted by various media world. This is thanks to the success of Brazil to develop biofuels production or biofuels to mitigate global warming since the 1970s.

Brazil in 2007 was recorded producing 5958 million gallons, or 22,653 million liters of bioethanol. The success of Brazil was ranked second after the United States (6488 million gallons).

Brazil biofuels processing with sugar cane and corn feedstock. For Brazil, there is an important decision or not of an international forum in Cancun which was attended by more than 190 countries still continue efforts to produce environmentally friendly fuels such.

The second generation
How is Indonesia?
The production of biofuels can not say how or fail when using a raw material oil, corn, or sugar cane. This is due to compete with food needs.

Production of biofuels with castor oil feedstock to avoid competition with food needs sought. However, the same does not work.

Recently Deputy Head of Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) Field of Information Technology, Energy, and Materials Unggul Priyanto promoting second generation biofuels production issues, namely the generation of technology that leaves raw materials that compete with food.

"Raw materials of biomass residues that are now abundant in number," said Superior.
Starch Technology Center BPPT in Lampung has researched the processing of biofuels by feedstock oil palm empty fruit bunches. Indonesia is estimated to have 12.9 million tonnes of oil palm empty fruit bunches per year.

"The price of biofuels is still not able to compete with fossil fuels," said Superior.
Head of Starch Technology Center BPPT Agus Eko Cahyono said, to produce 1 liter of biofuel takes about 5 kilograms of oil palm empty fruit bunches. Production price reached $1 per liter.

"That makes the price of biofuels from waste oil is still expensive, which is still high prices of the enzyme. However, the trend is predicted to decline, "said Agus.

Price of oil palm empty fruit bunches, according to Agus, calculated at 5cent per kilograms.

Overflow
Superior says, biomass residues from agricultural and industrial estates are very abundant. However, its use as raw material for biofuels is still very minimal.

"So far, almost no or very young use to produce biofuels," said Superior.
According to Superior, Indonesia is estimated to annually produce residue from sugarcane processing industry in the form of the waste reached 8.5 million tons. Sugarcane leaf litter produced reached 1.29 million tons.

From the oil palm plantation sector, acquired each year 3.45 million tons of oil cake. Then the wood fiber plantations reached 6.7 million tons.

Residues in the form of empty fruit bunches of oil palm reaches a high enough number, reaching 12.9 million tons. Then the residue of the oil processing industry reached 31 million tons. "Biomass residues that are compounded from agriculture and timber," said Superior.

Production of rice, each year it can be obtained residue reaches 12.5 million tons. From the wood processing residues are 8.345 million tons.

How abundant biomass residues for second generation biofuels. Currently the price of second-generation biofuels production is higher than the price of fossil fuel.

Brazil, which process raw materials of corn or sugarcane to biofuels, experiencing the same constraints. Production value is easily understood in terms of production value of raw material so that the price of biofuels in Brazil is still higher than fossil fuel.

Supposedly this is different for second generation biofuels. Residual biomass feedstock is relatively inexpensive, often even become valueless waste and simply thrown away.
Second generation biofuels should be cheaper. That's the hope.
